This shirt may have featured in Wolves lowest-ever league finish when they came 4th in the old 4th Division in 1986-87 after a run of three successive relegations, but it was also at the start of the revival as the famous Molineux club stopped the rot winning the 4th Division title the following season. Coincidentally, Wolves then went on to win the 3rd Division just a season later. Talk about a phoenix from the flames!
